Windows Phone 7 is the introduction of the first portable Xbox platform and therefore, it is not only Microsoft’s attempt to compete against Apple’s iPhone. Over at Joystiq, Xbox Live general manager Ron Pessner and XNA Game Studio manager Michael Klucher at GDC on 10th March, and he share the interview about how games integrate into the mobile platform and what developers and gamers can expect in the future.
The main topic was the company’s plans about Xbox LIve and specifically, how it would be integrating it into Windows Phone 7 Series. There was too much to discuss including the sweet science of porting games from Zune HD to 7 Series phones (“it’s 90, 95 percent code reuse in couple of hours or an hour, I am taking games that were written for Zune HD and putting them on the phone”). The importance of maintaining a consistent gameplay experience amongst different hardware and the reasoning behind limiting devices to asynchronous multiplayer.
So, it’s a time to hit the source link to embark on this miraculous journey of discovery.

Currently, I am working on Windows 7 and quite satisfied with that as it is hotter and faster than Vista. It is said not only by me but also by other users who have used last year. In 2009, Windows 7 sold well and gave the results that are not only in sheer revenue, but in the OS market share numbers also.
