The new SR-2 Loudspeaker is for audiophiles those love to listen to music from a great set of speakers. Pass Laboratories Inc. has introduced third loudspeaker, the SR-2 Loudspeaker which is a high-performance three-way listening system using the highest quality drivers available.

The SR-2 is a more compact 3-way version of the SR-1 which is idle for settings that can not afford large floor standing speakers. Each speaker system contains one 10-1/4-inch long excursion woofer, one 7-inch midrange driver and a 1.1-inch HEXADYM magnet tweeter. It also blends its three drivers into one coherent voice, even at listening positions thought to be very near field and too much close to the speaker to be optimal. Its deep awareness of micro-detail highly refined sound stage and effortless dynamics deliver accurate and superb musical reproduction.

All the drivers feature low mass, long excursion diaphragms, under hung voice coils and substantial copper faraday rings that assure very low, high dynamics, non-linear distortion, predictable performance and excellent transient response. Each speaker element and crossover is hand wired, tested and inspected in Pass Labs’ Foresthill, California factory.

The new SR-2 Loudspeaker is available in a lustrous cherry finish and optional finishes of Madrone burl for $21,000 in Madrone and $18,000 in cherry or ash; you can get them from authorized Pass Labs dealers in January.

I never accept other’s taste when there is a matter of listening music. And I believe that nobody accepts even you also because we all have different taste, preferences and favorites.
