If you already got your DROID and thinking what you can you get as your holiday bonus then don’t worry as that Phone Holder car dock and Multimedia Station home dock have just got the price tags of $30.
So, if you want your Motorola Droid to turn into an in-car navigation device then you will be happy after knowing it that navigation software of Google is free but the car kit will cost you $30. Yesterday, Verizon Wireless said that for the new Droid phone, these two specialized magnetic docks will each run you $29.99.
The Droid’s car mount is the first dock, the Phone Holder for DROID. With the Droid’s car mode, the car kit works which is a simplified interface for calling and navigation.
The Multimedia Station for DROID is the second dock turns your phone into a bedside alarm clock that displays the weather. For watching video and music, the Multimedia Station also puts the DROID at a right angle.
It is expected that when the Droid goes on sale Nov. 6, the two docks will become available.
