Kids’ worlds are filled with amazing and different colors. So, if your girl or daughter want to play with a doll that just looks like her then don’t worry as Mattel has brought a new concept for Barbie that would definitely make your cute daughter ask for black dresses more than often.

Mattel’s new concept for Barbie teaches little girls early on in life that what all women’s need is the perfect little black dress. It is most likely that all new Barbie Basics Collection will be a resounding success. To celebrate the launch of the dolls that are wearing little black dresses and dressed up with accessory kits, Mattel has paired up with the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) to bring out Barbie Basics Collection.

Twelve of the CFDA fashion and accessories designers have designed one-of-a-kind Barbies that showcase their unique tastes and talents. The designers include Betsey Johnson, Issac Mizrahi, Rachel Roy, Lorraine Schwartz, Justin Giunta, Alex Bittar, Deborah Lloyd of Kate Spade, Monica Botkier, Tory Burch, Philip Crangi, Devi Kroell and Albertus Swanepoei.

On eBay, these Barbie dolls are currently up for auction. All net proceeds will go to support CFDA’s scholarship program and educational initiatives. These Barbie dolls went up for auction on January 28th and will be available to bid on through February 7th.

As of January 31st, some bids went up to as much $3,500 for Lorraine Schwartz’s Barbie with Diamonds followed by the Kate Spade Barbie at $800. Mattel will be giving away one of the new Barbie Basic dolls and accessory pack on Twitter to those who do not have the funds to bid on the designer e-bay Barbies from February 1st – 16th.
