ClairAudient LSA 4+4 speakerAt the CES, then the new exhibitor ‘Audience’ will definitely increase my interest as I am into high-end audio gear. With its latest ClairAudient LSA 4+4 speakers, the new Audience speakers are based on the principle of a line-source array in which full-range, identical drivers are positioned in a vertical column.

CES produces a large number of satellite events including T.H.E. (The Home Entertainment) Show that focuses on high-end audio. This year is Audience with its latest ClairAudient LSA 4+4 speaker, a mouthful of a name for a product provide an earful of great sound in a small package measuring 17 x 15 x 12 inches (HxWxD).

The LSA 4+4 derives its name from two line arrays, one in the rear and other one in the front, each with four drivers for exceptional clarity and resolution of fine musical detail, smooth frequency response both off- and on axis, precise imaging on a realistically scaled soundstage and transient response and superb dynamic range. The so-called A3 drivers measure 3 inches only in diameter and they are said to exhibit an unusually flat frequency response from 40Hz to 22kHz. Sure, with one line array in the back, it would not sound like that if you placed these speakers in a cabinet.

For $12,000/pair, the ClairAudient LSA 4+4 is available now. So, I hope I would get these speakers and would share with you that how it sounds.
