Bonhams Sells ‘The Dalmore Oculus’, the World’s Most precious Whiskies on November 18th, 2009. A very precious and collectible bottle of Dalmore Oculus has been placed for auction for the first time as part of Bonhams Edinburgh’s Whisky Sale.
To prize this first and last of its kind whisky, collectors of whisky will be delighted, assembled from the most exceptional whiskies of the past 140 years. The cost price is $25,000 to $34,000 (£15,000-20,000). It is said that that it is the most precious whisky to ever appear at auction.
In a precious Baccarat crystal decanter, this peerless whisky fusion is beautifully presented and crafted bespoke decanter decorated with an intricate solid silver iconic stag standing alongside this extraordinary distillery brand’s name.
On November 18, the auction also marks the 20th Anniversary of whisky auctions for Bonhams Whisky Sales. So, as part of Bonhams Edinburgh’s highly-anticipated November 18th Whisky Sale, rare whisky collectors will have a good chance to buy an exceptional The Dalmore Oculus, amongst other distinguished whiskies.
