We have seen a company in the eBook reader space, BoEye that has been spotted currently at GITEX of Dubai with its own take on the Android MID. China’s Boeye has launching “Apple tablet” before Apple can: TechLahore@GITEX.
The product name is BoEye MID700 which is a Chinese tablet that runs the Android operating system and includes the features like a super sleek design, a front facing camera and its price range is $300.
I don’t have much detail aside from some comparisons to the mythical Apple Tablet like some iPhone-esque features such as capacitive glass touchschreen, silver bevel and familiar solitary button on the bottom of the screen, open source OS and a front-facing webcam.
This company is emphasis on e-book readers so I can’t say where they may be positioning this product. But if you ask me then my favorite part of this is the rumored sub-$300 price tag which makes the product well.
