If your trainer is not able to cut it for you then this robot trainer might give you the much required push to stick to your fitness regimen. A Hong Kong startup, Intuitive Automata, is all set to launch Autom which is a 15-inch tall robot that helps you stick to your diet.
Through a personalized diet, the conversing robot will talk you using its LCD touchscreen and will track your progress to help you achieve your fitness targets.
According to the company, Autom can help people to stick with your diets for nearly twice as long as with other methods. By batting its eyelashes, it also tries to look cute. An alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Media Lab, Cory Kidd and the inventor of Autom plans to launch the robot in the United States for a starting price of $400 at the end of the year, besides a monthly fee that will also be part of the package.
