There is good news for all Panasonic lovers that yesterday, Panasonic has announced the prices for he latest additions - LUMIX G2 and LUMIX G10. Both will be available in late-May 2010. The LUMIX G2 will come in red, blue and black models with a suggested retail price (SRP) of $799.95, while the LUMIX G10 will have retail price (SRP) of $599.95.
That will get you the same Venus Engine HD II, 12.1-megapixel sensor and LUMIX G VARIO 14-42mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S. lens on each, while the Lumix G2 boasts an added movable touchscreen – a first for a Micro Four Thirds camera.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 is the world’s first digital interchangeable lens system camera with a movable LCD that allows for touch-control and the successor to the award-winning and revolutionary LUMIX G1, which was the world’s first DSL Micro Four Thirds camera. The LUMIX G2 also shoots 720p High Definition video using the AVCHD Lite format.
