I can not ignore X-Slim X600’s dimensions, its slim and light body which makes me a complete professional person. It is easy to carry and much more portable and that’s why I can bring and use it anywhere easily. I am thankful to MSI who has just now officially launched its X-Slim X600 laptop in the US, and made it available at a number of online retailers including Amazon and Newegg.
MSI’s X-Slim X600 laptop includes:
• A 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo SU3500 ULV processor that requires less in the way of cooling
• A 15.6-inch WXGA display
• ATI HD 4330 graphics
• 4GB of RAM
• A 320GB hard drive
• A bundled external DVD drive
• A standard six-cell battery
MSI have announced the next in their X-Slim series of super-svelte notebooks, from one Air-a-like to another. It is the 15.6-inch CULV ultra portable, complete with Intel’s Centrino 2 platform, 16:9 widescreen display and a weight of around just 2kg. The combination of an Intel Ultra-Low Voltage processor and a discrete ATI GPU give the X600 both strong battery life and good graphics performance. The X600 is made out of lightweight glossy plastic and includes some pretty specs for that price (and its size), including your choice of black or silver color options.
Ports
MSI managed to include number of ports into the X600 laptop like the standard audio jacks, VGA, Ethernet, and 2 USB ports, 2-in-1 memory card reader, the X600 has an USB/ eSATA port for connecting to high-speed backup devices and an HDMI-out jack for outputting high definition video to a HDMI-compatible monitor or television.
In just $799 price tag, I can find a notebook that has plenty of appeal for those who do not need an optical drive. Now, I can’t wait, I am going to replace my previous heavy laptop with MSI X-Slim X600. I hope you will also like my choice.
