I have heard the name of Robert Silkstone in the world of automobiles in designing the cars. But, after two years of development, an automotive designer Robert Silkstone and Andy Shaw have launched their first range of most expensive watches with new luxury watch brand, Industrial North Design, based just outside Leeds, UK.
From their background, the two debut models Britannic and Vanguard-Precision are inspired. Their products are created using a combination of ultra modern precision engineering methods and traditional industrial process such as the Fibonacci sequence, Geodesic domes.
They are glad to launch their first timepieces: Britannic and Vanguard-Precision. The techniques like wire-EDM machining and spark erosion combined with CNC turning and laser engraving. So, it means their intensive products have a dimensional accuracy of 0.02mm.
Both of two debut models Britannic and Vanguard-Precision have a laser profiled and a sterling silver face and they are based on a finely adjusted IND-ETA 2428 self winding mechanical movement. These watches will measure calf leather strap as well as presentation case. The product price is $8000 and they have decided to strictly limit the production to 15 units each and have a dimensional accuracy of 0.02mm.
.
Well! I just got the information that currently, the company is taking reservation deposits for the watches and is hoping to be finished models in 8 weeks.
