We normally do not get adrenalized with LCD monitors, but when they get a dash of DisplayLink magic then it is another story. The Sideline Cinq, a 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600 vibrant LCD with SD card reader is entered that needs just one USB cable for both: the power and data and also it is kosher with both Mac and Windows. Cinq is a 10.1-inch USB companion monitor built for Ergonomics and Portability.
No doubt, the Cinq looks bulky, but at 15.6 ounces I would need some very serious lottery luck for it to cause any damage. There is a stand also to avoid the attachment’s sticky tape mess on my machine: I can go landscape or portrait.
The only grumble they have is that it requires a non-glossy option. $249 and the Cinq’s mine in Q3 or $199 if I pre-order from Sideline’s site.
So, I think I should go ahead and look at this once as this is I think a nice product.
