Of course, I have various commercial options to take photos in three dimensions but if I really want to capture 3D images then I must go to the route of Associate Professor Ishino Youzirou and company. As he and his students developed the 3D camera at the Nagoya Institute of Technology that sports 158 lenses which are arranged on18.5-inch aluminum arc frame in order to take 3D pictures of a flame. These lenses are arranged in four rows along the length of the horseshoe-shaped device and each cost about $2.00 which makes the camera quite expensive also.and the entire rig is 47 centimeters across.
To study irregular flames, the school’s combustion engineers will use it. For building the camera with the most lenses they have entered the Guinness Book of World Records. To enter the Guinness book, it is certainly safer than Youzirou’s other attempt Most Live Rattlesnakes Held in the Mouth.
Ishino Youzirou and his students took almost six months to build the camera, which they used to take pictures of a flickering flame from multiple angles. These students through hard work now have their names forever printed in the record books
So, these students worked in the name of science.
