This Christmas, Santa Claus is getting hi-tech. Yesterday it was the turn of Land Rover to show off its version of Santa’s sleigh, designed by GE to make Father Christmas’s,  Santa’s life easier. Santa Claus go anywhere 4×4 delivery wagon was sketched out exclusively for CAR Online as a part of Christmas 2009 special feature.

Florian Dobe, the Land Rover sledge has designed this all terrain 4×4 delivery wagon and submitted by Oliver Le Grice, Land Rover’s chief designer of advanced design to deliver presents to all corners of the Earth.

The Midlands design HQ has attached a spec sheet helpfully, this Land Rover has height adjustable suspension and a hitherto top-secret powertrain option: a particle accelerator. For a two-seater layout, Land Rover has plumped with space for a reindeer in front of Santa. In his Land Rover sledge, Santa Claus is clearly at home; while he views his pop-up holographic globe sat-nav, he is puffing on a generously sized cigar.

A spokeswoman had given the statement that Land Rover Design with Santa Claus launches the Christmas sledge of the future; it is designed to meet the ever-increasing delivery timetable.

It boasts all-terrain capability and is powered by particle accelerator technology. It has optional laser guided present delivery. There is CRS: chimney recognition software.

Now, nobody wants Santa skimping on boot space, do they?

Harley Davidson has been the passion for the road lovers who love the freedom to fly. I never knew that the Batmobile also came in limousine form; obviously neither does creators of the fictional character or Batman. So, if you have enough Batman comic book collection then switch to own a Batmobile. It seems like with the new Batmobile in town.

You would love your latest car to make a different experience and that it is a reflection of your desire and passions also but you might have thought that it is not possible to have such a car. The customer, Edward Walson who is a son of John Walson and the inventor of cable TV, was inspired by the special Fantuzzi-designed Ferrari built specifically for the Fellini section Toby Dammit of the three-chapter 1968 film Histoires Extraordinaires. He just parked his P540 Superfast Aperta that was essentially designed by the client himself.

All thanks to the Ferrari Special Projects program. It took around 14 months to complete the open-top P540 Superfast Aperta for proving the customer satisfaction to the fullest.

In 2008, Walson approached Ferrari and made a comment that he had always dreamed of designing sports cars and when he saw this film then he took a decision that one day he would have ‘his’ Ferrari. It took just 14 months from commission to testing at Fiorano. This P540 Superfast Aperta weighs an extra 20kg; he gave thanks mainly to the extensive use of carbonfibre.

At Fiorano, Walson took delivery and delighted with his commission, said “This is the most special Christmas present of my life.”

RUF Automobile, the manufacturer of high performance automobiles has introduced the first electric sports car – eRUF, from Germany in October 2008. In March 2009, during the Geneva Motor Show, RUF had presented an evolution of the first eRUF, known as ‘Greenster’.

With the launch of the “Stormster” which is the very first electrically driven SUV based on the Porsche Cayenne, the eRUF family continues to grow.

The Stormster with 270 kW or 367 bhp is driven by a Siemens electric motor as in the eRUF sports car. The highest speed is 150 km/h, being able to reach a range of 200 km at one charge. By Li-Tec Battery GmbH, the lithium ion accumulators are supplied. Li-Tec is the first manufacturer of lithium ion battery cells in Europe and it is designed for the automobile industry by using ceramic storage technology.

For the all wheel drive Stormster, Hankook developed the winter tires which is fitted to RUF classic five spoke lightweight wheels. It tires of size 295/30 R 22 allows the best possible road grip.

During the European Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, (COP 15), Denmark, the Stormster will have its first public debut from December 7th to 18th.

After announcing U.K. pricing for the new Aston Martin Rapide, it has now also priced the North American version of its slinky four-door. Aston Martin confirms US pricing of this four-door sports car that goes through final testing phases before being launched in early quarter two 2010.

The price of this new Aston Martin Rapide will start from $199,950 in the US that includes an impressive level of standard features like:

•    Bang and Olufsen Beosound audio system tailored
•    Dual cast brakes
•    Heated memory seats
•    Adaptive Damping System

The Rapide is the first production of Aston Martin’s four-door sports car encapsulating the practicality of a car with extra doors and fusing it with the trademark sports car dynamics synonymous with modern Aston Martins and it will be the first sports car to be hand-built in Graz, Austria at the Aston Martin Rapide Plant (AMRP). It will deliver to the customer in spring 2010.

Each Rapide will take 220 man hours (approximately) to build and will benefit from timeless craft skills just like the existing range: DB9, DBS, V12 and V8 Vantage do at Gaydon.

The Rapide is available on sale now to order from the Aston Martin dealership network across North America.

The genius craftsmen at Bentley have been touched a former red London bus to keep the legacy running on the London streets. The craftsmen at Bentley have lovingly restored a former London bus, in bespoke leather and all the trimmings. Its result might make you ponder if it has made it to the world’s most luxurious bus. The bus belongs to a UK arm of St Luke’s hospice after it was donated to the organization earlier this year. Then they asked Bentley Motors to restore the lost sheen for use as a mobile charity shop.

This project was done in bespoke leather by 59 Bentley staff members with over 2,000 hours of skilled labor to complete. When this team managed to retain many of the original fixtures then Luke (name of bus) has been endowed with signature Bentley finishes. Bespoke work surfaces and Hand-stitched leather are seen throughout that allows the bus to cater to its many roles as an awareness centre and travelling shop.

So, I hope the world’s most luxurious bus will always keep the legacy running on the London streets.

I am just fed up by taking ride on all daily basis bikes. Now! I just have to be ready as something is going to push the adrenaline up my brain. This will be done by the Asphaltfighters Stormbringer motorcycle which is the world’s fastest street motorcycle.
