The Tajima EV Mini Sport showcased there, is an all-electric single seater mini Formula 1-looking vehicle. The Tajima EV is designed by Tajima Motor looks like a formula car weighs around 300kgs using steel tube space frame and resin bathtub like body and is capable of traveling up to 25km with a 40Ah lead battery at a speed of 40km/h and about 90km with a 120Ah lithium polymer battery.
It has a motor output of 0.59KW, delivered to the rear wheels via a drive belt that can be powered by lead or lithium polymer batteries delivering ranges of 90km (lithium battery costs $5500 USD) or 25km (lead battery costs $2500 USD). The Tajima Motor Corp can spin around at a maximum speed of more than 70km/h. The Tajima Motor Corp is run by Japanese race driver Nobuhiro Tajima. Priced at $23,000 USD (without battery).
