Francesco Bertelli, New York-based designer is a genius as he doesn’t make only beautiful city bike but also has the ability to mix-match vintage and new bicycle parts truly make the bike luxury and unique. Francesco Bertalli brings out the design and sustainability together and has handcrafted a clean, beautiful and old-fashioned bicycle.
Francesco said that he has combined brand new parts with “new old stock” and vintage parts found at old bikeshops, flea markets, collectors and from his trustworthy suppliers.
The bicycle is equipped with Viking frame, vintage white Michelin tires, chrome vintage fork drilled for a front brake, rare Brooks B15 black, an old rare gipiemme crankset with a golden finish chain ring. To complete the setup a new branded wooden handlebar designed by Adam Brackney is taking the centre stage. The best thing is that the city bike has come without any logos and stickers. The starting price for a complete bike is $1500.
So, the final result is that you can’t find exactly the same combination in any other bicycle out there. And I am definitely sure your bicycle will be unique.
