Living Room LamborghiniI love my supercar and besides it is an integral part of my life, but I can not just keep it hanging outside my house to flaunt my opulence.  Therefore, I want a car garage of multiple cars and be able to enjoy viewing one of them in my living room.

There is a good idea from designer Takuya Tsuchida as he designed a house with a garage that leads directly to the living room with the help of an elevator on the first floor.  This house in Fukushima Prefecture is designed for an enthusiastic client with very particular taste, who owns a Lamborghini Countach Anniversary edition and it is a proof that the automobile’s role as machine has been abandoned in favor of its status as objet d’art.

World’s Most expensive Matchbox toy on sale for $15,000

Posted by Isha Farhad On March - 31 - 2010

Matchbox toys are a favorite with the young and old alike for generations and that explain their collectible status. Recently, a model car enthusiast has made a history by spending approx. $15,000 on a rare 1955 prototype of a Matchbox Lesney dumper Matchbox toytruck. The mysterious bidder, whose identity is still unknown, rang in with the winning offer at the auction in Harrogate, North Yorks. and took place to mark the Matchbox Club’s 25th and final annual convention.

On March 26,  model buffs from across the globe descended on the Holiday Inn in Harrogate to attend the sale of some of the most desirable toys around. The Lesney dumper truck, was at the top of the list which was produced by the Matchbox car company in 1955 as a prototype for a range of larger toys, though the up-scale version never materialized after the toy giant opted for the miniature vehicles , which have now become world famous.

I admit that I am really very impressed with these Japanese scooters more than the top embellished bikes of Orange County Choppers. I was overawed the last time I saw Japanese custom scooters, but this time I am completely bold at the site of this JAPAN/customized Kymco scooter: “Mitch.”

A lady takes a picture of this customized Kymco scooter “Mitch,” which is studded with 100,000 Swarovski crystals to dazzle you, at the 37th Tokyo Motorcycle Show at Tokyo Big Sight.

The Tokyo Motorcycle show is not a very large show, but when there is a something new to be launched from Suzuki, Yamaha or Honda, Tokyo is the place for it to happen.

If you are going to buy  a MG “Barbie & Ken” car in $25,000, then I would suggest you to spend that money in buying a children’s size 1992 Ferrari F40, instead. The design is not quite as timeless as that of the Barbie car, but who cares? Mini Ferrari F40 is  Powered by an 80 cc Honda motor, can accommodate two kids with restricted weight and height. So not quite in the same league as its parent model but maybe that’s all for the best. The car was made in Germany in tribute of the first Ferrari dealership opening in post-Cold war Moscow.

The car is available for $25,000.
